When you sign up for my newsletter, I use the double opt-in procedure. You can unsubscribe at any time. Processing takes place in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

7) Use of third-party providers

Live chat via Userlike

I use the live chat service Userlike on my website, provided by Userlike UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Probsteigasse 44–46, 50670 Cologne, Germany. Userlike allows me to get in touch directly with visitors to my website. When the page is loaded, the chat widget is loaded and a technically necessary cookie is stored on your device. This cookie serves solely to provide and ensure the functionality of the chat service and contains no personal data or tracking information. The cookie is only populated with session data when you actively use the chat. It remains on my domain and is not used for analytics or advertising purposes. Use of the chat is voluntary.

Matomo SaaS

My website uses Matomo SaaS, a cloud-based web analytics solution hosted on European servers. Matomo collects data on website usage in order to create visitor statistics and optimize my services. The analysis is carried out on the basis of my legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is anonymized and not passed on to third parties. You can object at any time via my cookie settings.

Google Ads Remarketing

I use the remarketing function of Google Ads to show visitors personalized advertising on other platforms based on their user behavior. This makes interest-based advertising possible across devices. Processing takes place on the basis of my legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If you have a Google account and have consented to personalized advertising, your data will be linked to your account. You can disable personalization at adssettings.google.com.

Google Conversion Tracking

This website uses Google Ads conversion tracking. When you click on a Google ad, a cookie is set that expires after 30 days and does not allow personal identification. If you visit a specific page within this period, Google and I can recognize that the ad was successful. Processing takes place for the purpose of measuring the success of my ads. You can prevent tracking through appropriate browser settings or an opt-out cookie.

Google Tag Manager

I use Google Tag Manager to manage website tags via a user interface. The tool itself does not process any personal data. However, it enables the triggering of other tags, which may collect data under certain circumstances. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. Personal data is stored for as long as necessary for the respective purpose. Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.
